Hi  It's not possible to update the utility module from v 1.5 to 1.5.1. Error message in Chrome Inspector says: POST http://myshop/modules/YnwzAmzlRo/download 500 (Internal Server Error) There are no other messages in error log nor on the admin panel.
Other updates (user manager, settings manager) worked as expected. How can I solve this?

Hello,
Can you try running the composer update command

Martin Kutter replied 5 years ago

Hi

Ran ‘composer update’ and tried to run the updater in laraship admin again.
Unfortunately without success. Same error in inspector: POST http://myshop/modules/YnwzAmzlRo/download 500 (Internal Server Error)

Any other idea?

Thank you for your help.

Regards. Martin

Hi Martin,
Do you have debugging mode enabled?

Martin Kutter replied 5 years ago

Things are getting worse.
composer update requested to update carbon 1 to 2 as well.
What I did, unfortunately.

Now I get Error 500 and in the debugging console (laravel) I get the following info:
Undefined index: Corals\Settings\Models\Setting
/Users/me/laraship-ecommerce/vendor/laravel/framework/src/Illuminate/Database/Eloquent/Model.php#241

If there is an easy fix, I am desperate to hear about it…

If not, I have the revert to an older backup and try to fix the problem.

Thank you for your help!

Hi

I retrieved the backup files and now I am back to the basic problem again:
It’s not possible to update the utility module from v 1.5 to 1.5.1.

Whether in debug mode nor in the error log files (apache/laravel) are any indications to the problem.
Only in Chrome’s inspector it says:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)

What is to be done to solve this issue?

Thanks for your help.

Error in Chrome’s Inspector after clicking the update button:
jquery.min.js:4 POST http://myshop/modules/YnwzAmzlRo/download 500 (Internal Server Error)

Hi

I was not able to fix this issue.
Therefore I setup a new shop with the latest updates.
Now it seems to work.
You can close the ticket, although it has not been solved.
