Subscription change same payment method required

Why is the same payment method required if someone wants to upgrade his package? because you cancel the old subscription anyway. How can I make it so whenever a person subscribes to another package it will cancel this active subscription and create a new one with new payment choosing..

Hello, If you upgrade a plan with different payment method, it will cancel the old subscription at old payment and add new subscription at new payment
